Find the chests in Megapolis! They contain materials, Megabucks and crystal figurines. Collect the figurines and get free buildings! Develop your Megapolis, complete any of these actions: build buildings, send gifts, house residents, collect taxes and expand your Megapolis. You can get a chest for doing any of these things. Open it up! You can open a chest for free, for coins, or for Megabucks. You can open one chest per hour. But if you want, you can speed that time up with Megabucks! Chests can contain: coins, experience, Megabucks, building materials and crystal figurines. |
Treasure Chest is a feature that was initially introduced on Fri December 13, 2013.[1] The player has 5 days to receive chests that can be opened for various gifts, including figurines, 
, 
, 
, and assets. (Note the gifts available are based on the figurine number you are attempting to get next, and the payment used to open the chest).
Chests are awarded for expanding the territories and for collecting population, coins or for buying construction sites. Chests can be opened once per hour, either for free, for increasing amounts of additional (starting from 20,000 ), or for 5 , with the latter supposedly increasing the chances of receiving a figurine. Various buildings are then awarded after collecting 3, 5, 7, and 10 figurines.
If the user wishes not to wait the entire hour for 3 (earlier 4 ) the timer will be reset allowing you to immediately open a chest. (Note: this 3 charge is just to reset the timer and will not improve your odds when you open the chest)
The event is unavailable before the player reaches Level 6.
